[Edprof] Teach copy-editing marks?

I've been copy editing on screen since 1976. Students need to learn  
how to do that. But there still are plenty of situations in which they  
might have no choice but to edit on paper. I'd think they should be  
exposed to basic proofreading marks much earlier in their journalism  
education than when they take a copy editing class. Intro writing,  
Grammar, whatever comes first. It isn't a big deal--maybe a half-dozen  
or so basic marks.
