[Edprof] new editing teacher asks for help

Hello. I was recently assigned to teach news editing this fall, and I was 
hoping you might be willing to help me with:

--suggested drills for students;
--suggested readings;
--ideas for class discussion and lectures;
--any other resources you know of;
--syllabi, and
--any other suggestions?

My students are graduate students.
